Shipping

Piecework offers the following shipping rates:

Within the contiguous 48 United States:

  • Free Economy shipping on orders $85+

  • Economy shipping on orders under $85

  • Expedited shipping available

Carrier transit times are presented at checkout; estimated times are provided by carriers and do not include processing time at our warehouse.

Other U.S. Destinations:

  • Alaska, Hawaii, and other U.S. territories: UPS ground only. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes in Alaska, Hawaii, or other U.S. territories.

  • P.O. boxes and most military addresses (APO/FPO via USPS): Economy shipping only.

International Destinations:

International shipping is available to select destinations. We use DDP (Delivery Duties Paid), so duties and taxes are included at checkout, and we charge a single international shipping rate. Availability may vary by country. Please note: orders shipped to the EU are subject to a 72-hour processing hold before fulfillment. International orders are final, except for EU consumers, who retain their statutory 14-day right of withdrawal — see Returns Policy.

Order Processing & Additional Information

Most orders are processed and shipped typically within 1–2 business days of receipt. Orders placed Monday–Friday by 12:00 p.m. ET are often processed the same day. Orders shipped to the EU are typically processed within about 4–5 business days before shipping. If you need an order sooner, reach out to hello@pieceworkpuzzles.com and we'll do our best to get your order on its way.

Kindly note that Piecework is unable to replace lost or stolen packages. Please reach out directly to the courier for missing or stolen packages.

Route Shipping Insurance 

We’ve partnered with Route—a package protection and tracking solution—to give our customers the best possible delivery experience. Route provides low-cost shipping protection to protect your package in the event that it gets lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit.

Please note: Route package protection is only available for orders shipping within the United States.


Route is also a mobile app that allows you to visually track all of your online orders in one place. No need to dig through your email for tracking numbers. Route’s dynamic maps and real-time shipping updates keep you in the loop throughout every part of your delivery. The Route app is available on Android and Apple app stores.

Returns & Refunds

This policy applies to products purchased from pieceworkpuzzles.com. Refunds are issued to the original form of payment. Return policies vary by destination — see your case below.

U.S. orders

Piecework accepts returns of unopened products within 14 days from the date of delivery for a full refund. Products must be returned in the original packaging — including any exterior shrink wrap in its original condition — with no visible signs of wear or use. Original shipping charges are not refunded. Items marked Final Sale are not eligible for return.

To start a return, contact hello@pieceworkpuzzles.com with the email address used to place your order and your order number. We'll provide a return authorization number (RA#) to write on the outside of the returned box. Returns received without an RA# may be delayed.

EU consumers — Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of the date you receive the goods, without giving any reason. This applies to all eligible orders — including sale, discounted, and items marked Final Sale — and cannot be waived.

How to withdraw: Notify us before the 14-day period expires using our online withdrawal form. You may also notify us by email at hello@pieceworkpuzzles.com, or by any other clear statement of your decision. Sending your notice before the 14-day period expires is sufficient.

Returning the goods: After we receive your withdrawal notice, we'll provide an RA# and confirm the return address. Write the RA# on the outside of your return and send the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you notify us (see "How to send your return" below). You arrange and pay your own return postage.

Condition: You may open and inspect the goods as you would in a shop. You are liable only for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Refunds: We reimburse all payments received from you, including the original (outbound) shipping charge, no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or you provide proof you've sent them, whichever is earliest.

Other international (non-EU) orders

All sales are final.

Write your RA# on the outside of the box. For U.S. returns, please allow 1–2 weeks of processing time for your refund once your returned product(s) have been received. EU withdrawals are refunded within the statutory timeframe described above.
